It is located just thirteen miles from Seattle in South Snohomish County on the east side of the Puget Sound. Its ideal location offers stunning views of  the Olympic Mountains as well as Puget Sound. There are also easy accesses to the local beaches and waterfront parks. It is a charming community of approximately 39,515 people. The City of Edmonds while smaller than some of it's neighbors is modern and progressive, but being on the water gives it a unique idenity. Edmonds, also has maintained and preserved the historical buildings of interest. Well known as artist community it offers numerous city center exhibits throught the year. During the "Edmonds Art Walks"  scheduled once a month you can wander from shop to shop and meet with some of the area's top artists in person while tasting some of the areas better Washington wines as well.
It's marina is one of the best in the area and if you enjoy diving the Edmonds Underwater Park is outstanding for its varity of sunken wrecks and provides easy access. You can literally park just a few feet from the water and walk-in.
